ENGLISH ROSE FLOWERSI have recently set up to do flowers for all occasions at Sarah Miller and gave it the name, The English Rose. I specialise in wedding flowers, table arrangements and special occasions. I started the flowers in January 2008 and so far it has been very successful. To ensure my flowers are perfectly fresh I will only buy to order. You can order as little as you like, ‘maybe a small bouquet’ or as elaborate as filling a marquee. MASTER MILLER MENSWEARI started the menswear hire at Sarah Miller over two years ago and it has grown tremendously over the past twelve months. I was asked why I didn’t do anything for the groom and many brides suggested it would be easier to get the men’s suits from the same place as the brides dress, so I asked Etiquette formal Hire for help and shortly after I became an agent. They provide suits for all occasions and for all sizes including children. All the suits are in the free brochure provided by Etiquette. ALTERATION AND REPAIR SERVICEAlterations and Repairs is the back bone of my business. This is how I started my business over 25 years ago, shortening hems and putting in zips, taking in and letting out. I had my own little work shop in Blackpool and had a very good reputation for my work. I was asked by a wedding shop to do their work and design a few dresses which I did for a year or so before opening my own Bridal shop. I continued with the Alterations and Repairs and I still do today. Wedding shops are very seasonal and can have some very quiet spells. With the Alterations and Repairs, it keeps me busy all year round. I am lucky to have a job that is also my hobby. If I can’t help you with your wedding then maybe I can shorten your jeans. ROOM DRESSINGSarah Miller has also expanded into room dressing, from simple table arrangements to seat covers and bows, ceiling swags and lights, and full table dressing including placement settings, favours and invitations. If we haven’t got it I’m sure we can get it. Let us know your ideas and we will put something together with a price that suits you and will not be beat. With room dressing we are limited to one wedding per day so make sure you book your day well in advance to save disappointment, your final decisions can be made closer to your wedding day.
